GWT Designer - CSS editor - "There are no CSS files ref

Postby MaticPetek » Mon Jul 02, 2007 10:03 pm

Hi,
I upgrade my development environment from Eclipse 3.2 / GWT Des 1.6.1 into Eclipse 3.3 / GWT Des 2.0. But now I have problems with CSS. If i open Composite in "Design" mode i see components in "blank" mode - no CSS styles and used. I have set "styleName" attribute on components. But when i click on button "..." for "styleName" attribute, i got error dialog "There are no CSS files referenced from modules HTML".
I don't believe something is really wrong with CSS reference, because if i run application from Eclipse, styles are set and propriety visible in hosted and compile mode. Please help.

Regards,
Matic

How was your project created? With GWT Designer or something else?

Where is your CSS file located within your project?

How are your referencing your CSS file from youru module HTML file?

It was created with GWT Designer 1.6.1 and it works in this version

Where is your CSS file located within your project?

How are your referencing your CSS file from youru module HTML file?

It is on "standard" location. I create project with name "IRRegister". HTML and CSS file are in directory "\si\lipica\ILRegister\public\". In HTML file i have standard generated include for CSS file - <link type="text/css" rel='stylesheet' href='ILRegister.css'/>

Please send a test case to wb-support@instantiations.com.

We will need a way to reproduce this before we can offer any advice.

I have the same problem. The .css file is in the war directory but for some reason it can't find it. I have been trialling this product, but now purchased. I have noticed issues with the style sheet while trialling it. I tried compiling the application and it wiped the style sheet.

I have created the project as a GWT Designer. I am just trying to build a composite module, as per the login tutorial given on the website. I can't add the styles because of this error.

Cheers

Brad

PS. I don't know if subversion may be causing this problem?

Where is your .css file?

It should be at the root of your /war directory.

I have the same problem. The .css file is in the war directory but for some reason it can't find it. I have purchased the product but this problem was also present in the trial. Also each time i compile it wipes out the .css and .html files along with.
