Exception report

Postby Garold » Mon Jun 04, 2007 7:50 am

Every time I try to launch a GWT application, the hosted mode browser comes up to an error page. The title is "Apache Tomcat/5.0.28 - Error report". This doesn't happen for applications created using Google's projectCreator/applicationCreator batch files (and launched from the automatically created shell batch file).

type Exception report

message

description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

note The full stack trace of the root cause is available in the Apache Tomcat/5.0.28 logs.

Without additional details (like a test case) this looks like an internal exception in GWT's hosted mode support rather than a GWT Designer issue.

I just hit this same error. Mysteriously solved by having the application saved locally instead of on a Windows XP mapped network drive.

Maybe its some sort of permission issue. The exception is coming from GWT itself.
