I am running tomcat on another machine and port, eastland:8080. When I run my GWT app in Eclispe using Run As->Run..., I change my port to 8080, select noserver and add my other machine (eastland) to the whitelist. When it runs, the URL come up as
http://localhost:8080/com.eastlandeng.m ... MyApp.html and I get an error since I specified noserver. If I type in the correct URL for my tomcat server location in the browser,
http://eastland:8080/MyApp/MyApp.html, the app starts up correctly. I am looking for someplace to enter eastland:8080/MyApp/MyApp.html in Eclipse so I don't have to type it in the browser each time.
In the GWT MyApp-shell.cmd, when I specify noserver and whitelist, I can change the last parameter to the new url,
http://eastland:8080/MyApp/MyApp.html, and the app will run correctly.
