Can you describe problem with more details?

1. Where is your Tomcat server installed?
2. How it looks that you "cannot"?
3. Do you deploy GWT project (in reality this means single GWT module) or Web project (with possible several GWT modules configured in Web project preferences)?

Here are a little outdated screen shots.

I mean that I cannot deploy the gwt web project into the local server just like normal WTP porject does.

With normal WTP project, i can simply right click on the selected server in "Servers" view and select the WTP project to the server and run. but GWT web project cannot be selected in the list.

Our GWT Web project is not a WTP project, so the WTP tools won't recognize it. The "Servers" view is part of WTP and only knows bout WTP things.

If you want to use the WTP tool, you would need to use a WTP project.

If you want to use our GWT Web project, you should use its deployment tools as Konstantin indicated.
