The Preferences patch and GWT 1.2.11

The Preferences dialog window in Eclipse asks you to specify whether or not to use the patch for gwt-user.jar
My question is: Should I use this patch for GWT version 1.2.11?

For GWT 1.2.11 it is a no-op and not needed.

We will likely remove that option in the future.
