SWT Designer 5.0 on Mac OS X

Will SWT Designer 5.0 be supported on Mac OS X?

I don't really care about WindowBuilder Pro or any of the Swing functionality, just SWT Designer, although I know that you guys do.

On your web site you state that the Designer is not supported due to the following 5 issues:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=67384
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=53790
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=54791
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=50540
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=41234

All of these have been marked resolved by now. Granted, some of them has been marked "WONTFIX", but I believe the major one that was keeping everything back is 67384 - SWT_AWT not implemented for the Mac.

Apple has release an SWT Compatiblity Library for Java 5 Release 4 and the Eclipse side of the fix is in Eclipse 3.2RC3 and later.

Does this mean that it will be supported on OS X or that we could possible see support for SWT Designer on OS X in the near future?

SWT Designer (not Swing Designer) has worked on OSX for some time.

Instructions for setting it up are available in the Designer FAQ.

Based on our testing and reports from others, it does not appear that it has been fixed. See the comments in the new bug report opened on this issue.

You can test this in Swing Designer by turning on the Designer > Swing > Allow Swing development on OS X preference (only available under OSX). If Eclipse hanges or crashes, the problem isn't fixed.
