Out of memory errors

Hi,

I started using SWT Designer, and since I use it I keep getting out of memory errors. The log states the following:
!ENTRY com.swtdesigner 4 4 2006-06-30 00:37:43.703
!MESSAGE Designer internal error [5.0.0.2006.06.23]: Java heap space
!STACK 0
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

I tried to add some views to a perspective. After a few changes SWTDesigner slows down dramatically and the error follows.

I increased the allocated memory to 256 min and 512 max on a 1Gb machine, in the eclipse Configurations Settings file. is that the corect place? But it doesn't seem to help much.

Any idea?

Can you provide us with a test case as well as your complete Eclipse ".log" file?
