Composite controls not visbile in parent composite (OS X)

Hello,
I know that OS X is not a supported platform... but I thought I would post this anyway.

Config:
OS X (10.4)
Eclipse 3.1.1
SWT Desinger 4.2.0
Java 5.0 (1.5)

When I add a Composite to another Composite, the controls in the child composite are not visible in the parent composite's design view. (There is only a rectangle outline of the composite container) When I run the app, they show up fine. I loaded the same source code in my Windows system (Eclipse 3.1) and the controls appear perfectly in the design view.

Any ideas?
