just wondering how you do this? I can create a label and try to add an image, but I get a table dialog with nothing in it to select the picture from. How do i specify where to find the picture? and is attaching it to a label the way to do it?
Thanks.

Designer allows to add image from workspace, from folders below class. I.e. if you have class in package com.something and directory com.something.img with images, then Designer will show images. It just scans all subdirectories of class directory for images.

Hello! I have the same problem.
I read this article, then I created a folder with the name "img" in "something" folder in "com" folder with gif files in it. But the image table dialog is still empty
Are gif files are available? Should I prepare the other image format files (ex. PNG? BMP?)
Thank you.

You should create folder with any name, for example "img", in subfolder of package of your class. "com" was just example.

Oh, I see
Then I created a image folder in my class folder (and I copied image folder in
ALL sub-folders in my class folder, too). But the image dialog is still empty.
BTW, I use the designer on Windows 2000. On Windows 2000, is this image table dialog available?
Thank you.

And keep in mind, that images should be in workspace, i.e. you should execute "Refresh" action on your project or package.
See for example, how image selection dialog works on my PC.
