SWT Designer allows you to create the views, editors, perspectives, pref pages, composites, etc. that comprise Eclipse SWT & RCP applications and plug-ins.

I just installed the SWT Designer from Google. Please note that I am a new user to this particular product, and would like to use it for a new project.
We are developing an RCP application with a series of plugins. I do NOT see in the File-New-Other GUI Forms section all of the options noted in the online help (on Google). I only installed the SWT designer plugin pieces, since we are trying to limit ourselves to JFace and SWT.
Also, when I tried to create the RCP ViewPart (I only have ViewPart and EditorPart choices here for instance), it doesn't work (String value out of range I believe was the error). I had to create an SWT Composite class instead. Note that the project I'm trying to develop is a plugin project.
Any thoughts would be helpful about why only certain items are available to me. I'm running Eclipse Helios and chose the 3.6 installer....if that makes a difference.
Thanks.

Sounds like not everything is installed correctly.
It would be helpful to see what you are seeing (or not seeing).
If you encounter an exception, we need to see it here (or submit it using the Contact Support option in the error window).

That's kind of what I figured....the error in the wizard does not give me a contact support option...so that won't work. I'll do my best to attach a couple of screenshots....hopefully that will help.
Thanks for replying so quickly!

I see your problem...none of those screen shots have anything to do with SWT Designer.
It looks like you are using a different GUI builder (Jigloo?) in both screen shots.

ahhhh ok, I'll disable Jigloo and try again. I installed that a few days ago since SWT designer wasn't available!
I'll post again if I run into problems after disabling it. Thanks again!!!
