When I import a project from CVS in a new Eclipse/WindowBuilder install, all of the .java files have a default editor of java editor. This is fine, I can understand why that is done. The program has no idea the .java file was created with WindowBuilder.
What I would like to see is the ablility to highlight the files in the 'Package Explorer' and to change them 'Open with Designer' type files.
Over the past few days I have had to rebuild my Eclipse/WindowBuilder environment and when I import my project from CVS I have to right click on each file that was created with the designer and select 'Open with Designer' the first time.

This suggestion would be better as a generic Eclipse feature, so I would encourage you to request it from eclipse.org. Basically, you want
Open With to work with multiple files.
