Eclipse Designer as an Application?

Postby skater27 » Mon Aug 23, 2004 12:54 pm

We are thinking of using Eclispse and the Designer as a non-programmer
transaction-form designer. This would require many of the choices be removed
from both Eclipse and the Designer leaving only our proxy controls with
a fixed container in which to place them and limited GUI properties.
Can this be done or is the designer too inflexable at the moment?

Designer is more than "flexible" enough to be customized in that way (in fact, what you describe would be very easy).

However, Designer isn't an open source product, so you would need to contract with us to customize it for you.
