SWT Designer allows you to create the views, editors, perspectives, pref pages, composites, etc. that comprise Eclipse SWT & RCP applications and plug-ins.

When the shell is null layout I drop a composite on it and I can see it when I run the application. When I use FillLayout or any other layout for that matter it does not render when I run the application. Running the test app from withing swtdesigner everthing renders properly.

What do you mean when you say it does not render?
Can you send us some screen shots of what you are seeing (or not).
It would also be helpful if you could send the code for the window you are having a problem with to
support@swt-designer.com.
