SWT Designer allows you to create the views, editors, perspectives, pref pages, composites, etc. that comprise Eclipse SWT & RCP applications and plug-ins.

Sorry if I am posting this to the wrong forum. I could not be certain which one this topic is appropriate for.
I want to create an Eclipse plugin that is a text editor for a textual DSL I have created. I want the editor to have syntax highlighting and code/content assist just like say the Eclipse Java editor, but for my DSL specific language.
1. Does something in the SWT Designer or RCP Developer product get me there sooner (code gen of necessary artifacts) or am I on my own?
2. If I am on my own, can you provide guidance on where I'd find this information in the "Eclipse Plug-Ins" book, second edition?
Thanks!
Vaughn

No.

That is not something covered in the book at all. The Eclipse newsgroups would be the best place for info like that.
