SWT Designer allows you to create the views, editors, perspectives, pref pages, composites, etc. that comprise Eclipse SWT & RCP applications and plug-ins.

I created an SWT - Designer project under a previous version of Eclipse. Now I have upgraded eclipse, upgraded SWT Designer, and imported the project back into my workspace. However, now my GUI class does not have a Design tab associated with it. It also won't load the Design editor when I choose Open With | SWT Designer Editor. What can I do to get my class to be re-associated with the Designer?

Turns out that after I closed my class, re-started Eclipse, and then chose Open With SWT Designer Editor, the Design page came back.

You need to use "Open With > Designer Editor". If your class is already open in the Java Editor, you need to close it first.
