Eric Clayberg has hinted in a few posts about support for eRCP and has linked to this image:

...which is very tantalising.

Is Instantiations ready, at this point, to release any more details on its eRCP support?

Also, the image has a picture of an iPhone. Is this just for cache? How on earth do eRCP applications work on a phone with no JVM?

eRCP Designer is currently in limited beta test with a few customers. If you are interested in participating, send me e-mail. We will be releasing it into an open beta sometime before the end of the year.

That was just one of the phones we could find a nice image of . The device preview mode is just there to show what the layout would look like on a phone with those dimensions (e.g., screen dimensions in pixels). The list of preview phone images for the final product has not been determined. We might even include all we can find along with various filters (like "Supports eRCP"). If anyone has a good list of phones (manufacturer and model number) that actually do support eRCP and/or a good source for phone template images, let me know (you will be rewarded).
