Creatung a Java Bean for Data binding

Postby rimmeraj » Fri Aug 10, 2007 7:45 am

Please excuse my ignorance (I am usally a vi kind of guy, this is awfully fancy). How do I get to see my Java bean in the data binding menu ( Just created it as a Java class with getters and seters). Do I have to do something special so WPro builder will see it as a bean?

What "data binding menu" are you referring to?

A detailed desxcription of what you are looking at or a screen shot woud help.

I have a text field in a Shell. Right click, select Data Binding, Select Text and a Create Data Binding dialog comes up. I'm assuming if if press the button with the tool tip bean objects I should get a list of them? I need to somehow say here is my model ...

Yes. The Create Data Binding dialog is discussed here.

If you click the Image Beans button, it will allow you to select any field defined in your class.
