Hi,
I get the following exception while switching from source to design view.
Caused by: com.instantiations.designer.core.utils.check.AssertionFailedException: null argument:
at com.instantiations.designer.core.utils.check.Assert.fail(Assert.java:198)
at com.instantiations.designer.core.utils.check.Assert.isNotNull(Assert.java:151)
at com.instantiations.designer.core.utils.check.Assert.isNotNull(Assert.java:138)
at com.instantiations.designer.swing.databinding.model.DataBindingsRootInfo.createBindingForListToJComponent(DataBindingsRootInfo.java:301)
at com.instantiations.designer.swing.databinding.model.DataBindingsRootInfo.parseExpression(DataBindingsRootInfo.java:196)
at com.instantiations.designer.swing.databinding.parser.DatabindingParser$1.endVisit(DatabindingParser.java:130)
The execution of the source is ok.
Any ideas what's wrong?

I installed SWT Designer yesterday and everything was working fine. Then I updated today and now none of my classes can be shown in design view and gives the same error.
initially installed SWT Designer was version 7.1.0.200906250524. And today I have tried both the integration version (7.1.0.200906251425) and the latest version (7.1.0.200906252242)
Sample class and log attached. I know it is now Swing but it is the exact same result.
Edit: After reevaluating I guess I might have jumped the gun by saying it is the exact same error. It is just the asserts that are the same =)

I tried your example, and it worked fine on my end...

Try updating to the latest build and see if it helps.

Very strange.
I uninstalled it after I made that post and just installed the latest version. Now it appears to be working again. Even my Forms-based views show now and they didn't when I first installed it last week (although I might have had some issues on those as I am new on the Forms API)

I'm glad it is working for you.
Your log hinted at a possible installation issue, so reinstalling probably fixed it.
