Has your company considered starting a strategic relationship with http://www.visual-paradigm.com/ ?

I've suggested the same to them in my fairly long topic post here: http://forums.visual-paradigm.com/posts/list/6588.html

You both are the top of your class from my perspective and on the feature level complement each other like a glove! And both have a fair amount of overlapping on the platform/programming environment support.

Please do provide me with some explanation if your company is not interested or have another partner in mind! This has great influence in the selection process for the extension of my toolbox and probably of many others!

Excuse me for "abusing" the space!

As I've posted a different topic then this section was intended for. However, I couldn't find any other place to present such a question publicly on your forum.

I hope you take my intentions in consideration as well as letting us the (future)users know what our future together could be like!

Thank you for your suggestion. Frankly we don't know much about Visual Paradigm but we will investigate.
A couple of questions for you:
1. Would you be willing to elaborate on your thoughts with me in a private exchange?
2. Can you give me a partner or biz-dev contact at Visual Paradigm? (they don't list staff/titles on website)

Thanks again.

Your reply is greatly appreciated! And sure I'll.

First I'd like to apologize for my late reply, as it doesn't reflect how interested I'm in making this collaboration/Coopetition work! Just for clarity in case the term is unknown to the reader: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coopetition. It seems I oversaw the default behavior of phpBB not to notify on replies by default so I've now subscribed to this topic.

I'm thrilled that someone with your amount of influence has such interest to start an investigation!

I've updated the original post which I've started from on the VP form, and here's the direct link to the related reply: http://forums.visual-paradigm.com/posts ... tml#450233 . There I request a more specific contact channel for this certain situation. I'm awaiting their reply. I've suggested that the appropriate person should contact you directly, as they view this issue with great confidentiality according to the reply on my ticket of which a copy can be found in the same topic.

And you may contact me anytime. I'll e-mail you my detailed contact information.

I've got a reply regarding how they would like to be contacted on this matter. I quote: "
