emsrv as a service in Windows 7

Postby a3aan » Fri Sep 03, 2010 7:45 am

I'm trying to setup emsrv as a service in Windows 7 Professional/64bit. I did everything applicable from http://www2.instantiations.com/VAST/Docs/80/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=ig/instgd55.html but still get could not create registry key as a result from
Code: Select all
emsrv -install -mp

Do I need to do more to make it work?

Cheers,
Adriaan.

Got it working. Execute the command in a shell cmd.exe started with 'Run as administrator'. Alternatively, you can create a batch file that creates the service and execute that with 'Run as administrator'.
