How to remove Window 'Click Here to Interrupt Execution'

Postby klausmeucht » Wed Mar 24, 2010 3:27 am

I use VA Smalltalk 7.01. There is a little Window to Interrupt the Smalltalk Process. I have (and like) this window in
the developement Image, but my costumer don't want this window in the runtime Image.

Is there a way to package the image, so that this window is removed?
I use the Advanced Packaging Mechanism, where it is possible to define packaging rules. (From System Transcript Menu Tools -> Browse Packed Images)

Klaus,

do you ship your deployment image with abt.exe or nodialog.exe?

The window should be gone if you use a copy of nodialog.exe instead of abt.exe...

Alternatively you can add the option
Code: Select all
-no_break
to abt.exe.
