Hi All,
Our application, a desktop application which was developed on visual age ver-6.0, hangs after several dll calls.
in order to function it loads plenty of data from external services through a dedicated dll interface, almost 50-60 times it gets contact to external services on start up.
some investigation it was found that smalltalk leaves out those processes created for the services calls un-killed.
is it an known issue with Smalltalk- DLL calls, if so is there any way to get rid of this pathetic situation.
appreciate any directions to this issue.
Regards

Well, if your dll-call is blocking and never returns to Smalltalk you might look at your dll, what goes wrong ...
