I'm working here under Vista-SP2 and I notice that I get sometimes into a situation, where my development IDE is not responding any more - this may also happen, when I'm not at the computer at all. VASmalltalk is then under heavy load (25% - under a quad-core system) and the only thing I can do is to kill the system.
I have not seen this behaviour under my XP system - only when I started development under Vista again ...
This may happen once or twice over day ...

Marten,
I use Vista SP2 on my Mac and have never seen the problem - even after hours of use or hibernation. So it's not a general problem.
