modal dialog in taskbar

Hello,

my problem is, I will show a modal dialog to inform the user that a process is terminated. I can show the dialog, but the dialog will not shown in the taskbar, because he is and must be modal. How can I do this, anywhere any idea? setWindowLong will not work or I make the call at a wrong place.
