Smart GWT Editions w GWT Designer?

Postby tinnitus007 » Mon Oct 18, 2010 3:12 pm

I have installed:
Eclipse for J2EE Helios 3.6sr1
GWT 2.0 Plugin for Eclipse
GWT Designer for 3.6
and SmartGWT 2.2, kinda. It's functioning, but I have questions...

I notice that when my GWT project prompts me for the SmartGWT location of the jar file, it appears to only accept a file of name "smartgwt.jar." Is this the "LGPL" licensed product only? I am unable to select the "smartgwtEE.jar" file ("Pro/Enterprise" license), at least via the dialog prompt. Is there a way to manually place the smartgwtEE.jar file in my project, instead of the smartgwt.jar folder? Should I even be trying to do this? Does the "EE" version give me more functionality when using GWT Designer in Eclipse?

Please advise, thanks.

We've never used the "EE" version, but I assume you could just follow the SmartGWT instructions for adding it to your GWT project.

I would assume that GWT Designer would treat both versions the same.
