Dialog Size differs at runtime

Postby shafferg » Thu Jan 15, 2009 2:02 pm

At runtime, when I show a DialogBox I created using the designer, I noticed that the DialogBox's size has been shrunk down to fit the size of the inner widgets, ignoring the sizing of nested panels and even the size I assigned to the DialogBox by dragging. I was hoping to see the DialogBox display with the size I had set in the Designer, which is properly reflected with the "Test Designer Window".

Is there something I need to do in order to have my runtime version of the DialogBox reflect what I created in the Designer?

Thanks,
Greg

A feature/bug(?) of DialogBoxes in GWT is that they ignore the size you give them and always adjust their size to the size of their children.

If you explicitly set the size of the child (in the property pane), the DB should reflect that size at runtime.
