GWT-EXT doesn't show in palette

I saw one post in this forum mentioned the GWT-EXT in the palette with a screen shot.
I tried with the latest build, but the GWT-EXT doesn't show up in the palette, but if I right click to bring up the palette manager, I saw the GWT-ext there and checked, I don't know why it doesn't show in palette. I guess somehow I have to configure the GWT-EXT to have it show up, but can't find any document.

please advise.

Info about GWT-Ext (including how to set it up) is available from the GWT-Ext web site.

GWT Designer does not impose any additonal set up requirements and will work fine with GWT-Ext 2.0.5. There are also several long discussions about GWT-Ext on this forum.

You can also try the preconfigured GWT-Ext Example project.

the test project worked great.
I think it has something to do with the version of the GWT. I was using GWT 2.05 and EXT 2.02. It didn't work.
So what version was the GWT jar in your test project.

GWT Designer will work with any version of GWT-Ext from 2.02 on. GWT-Ext 2.05 is fine.

I would suggest using GWT 1.5.2.

When you say it didn't work, what do you mean? Any exceptions in your log?

As you can see from our example project, if you set up GWT-Ext correctly, it works fine.

I am using GWT 1.5.3 for mac
the palette shows up now after I got the module xml correct.
I copied the EXT JS files, adaptor, resource from "Ext 2.02" to public folder as your sample project.
I was able to do GWTCompile, and then run it as GWTApplication, I got the blank screen, nothing shows up on the page, the page is very simple with one GWT-EXT button.

I tried to attach the project as a zip, but I got this message on the page: "The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 256 KiB."

We tried GWT 1.5.3 with GWT-Ext under OSX and it worked fine on our end...
