Hi there,
Bascially, After programming with JavaScript for quite a while now, I want to try and get away from this as far as possible to be honest, hence why I am now trying to depict whether GWT would be a better practise for myself!
I have found a great website that shows introductions to GWT, and I have followed it to the finest detail, although, what I do not understand is why when im using Intellij Idea, within the index.html file where the program needs to access this line of code:
<script type=”text/javascript” language=”JavaScript” src="sampleApp.SampleApp.nocache.js"></script>
although, I simply cannot get the src file to work...like the website tutorial states (http://developerlife.com/tutorials/?p=193), the first part, sampleApp is the folder is should be in, and SampleApp should be the file....but all Intellif says is that there is no such file....I have tried many many different methods, but it is something to do with the nocache part...I don't quite understand what this is for. Bearing in mind the actual file path for this file it tells me to give is: src/sampleApp/client/SampleApp.java.
If anyone can please help me out into getting this working, I will be really thankful!
Regards,
Ben
