Relative path for GWT_HOME

Postby gslender » Thu Mar 06, 2008 5:37 pm

Hi,

I would really like to be able to specifiy a relative path for GWT_HOME.

When trying to configure it, it doesn't seem to behave correctly - is there any option or solution to this problem?

Eclipse doesn't like relative classpath variables.

Would it be possible to have variables in the path, like ${project_loc} or something similar? So I could have a gwt for each project...

You could modify your .classpath file to point directly to a specific GWT version (and not use GWT_HOME). That would control what the widgets wold look like at design time.

The Path to GWT installation directory preference, which is used to set GWT_HOME, is also used to find the GWT shell and compiler, and that preference is shared across all projects.
