2.0.0 Installer on Windows fails to launch

I cannot launch the latest release installer for GWT Designer 2.0.0 (Windows). I'm using the one from the link:

http://downloads.instantiations.com/GWT ... 32_x86.exe

I get the error that the application executed an illegal operation. This happens immediately after launch, before even the initial splash screen for the installer appears.

It seems to be working fine for us. Does this happen on multiple machines?

What OS are you using? XP? Vista?

Try the FAQ options here including the -nosplash option.
