Unknown Window Type (Parsing Error)

Postby Zox » Tue Apr 05, 2005 6:25 am

All the sudden I get the error: Unknown Window Type (Parsing Error)
when trying to switch to Design mode.

I don't think I have done anything to the code. What's wrong here?

Thanks,
Zox

I don't know. It would be helpful if you could send us your Eclipse ".log" file as well as the source for the class you are trying to edit.

Has there been any progression on this subject? I've got the same here using SWT Designer 4.0.1 on Eclipse 3.0.2 on Mac OSX 10.3.8.

Thanks.
Emiel.

As the original poster has not provided any further details, there isn't anything we can do about it.

If you are seeing this on the Mac, you are experiencing a completely unrelated problem cause by an Eclipse bug that only affects OSX users.

A work around is available. See the Designer FAQ.

Okay thanks for the reply. Apparently I need to purchase Tiger (10.4) to get things to work.
