Difference between manifest.mf and plugin.xml

SWT Designer allows you to create the views, editors, perspectives, pref pages, composites, etc. that comprise Eclipse SWT & RCP applications and plug-ins.

Difference between manifest.mf and plugin.xml

Hi there,
Can anybody tell me wht is the difference if we select extension point for a plugin from a manifest.mf file or from a plugin.xml....wht difference it makes to the plugin?

I'm not sure what you mean. Extensions and extension points are defined in the plugin.xml, not the manifest.mf.

Also, this forum is for questions about SWT Designer, not general Eclipse questions. Please use the Eclipse newsgroups for those.
