GC Erase

Postby getserved » Wed Aug 27, 2008 11:12 pm

1.I'm puzzled at GC that it doesn't have erase function thus it eats more and more RAM while I'm painting on a large composite. In fact, I'd love to have the invisible part erased as my composite is set scrolled. I couldn't have the GC disposed since there is image painted on the composite still.
2.I'm not sure about if the content of scrolledComposite was painted and scrolled, the client area is redrawed or not?

Note that this forum is specifically for questions concerning SWT Designer.

General questions about SWT should be addressed to the eclipse.platform.swt newsgroup.
