Hi,

I want to place a Combo Box in a Table/Tree Column. Is it possible and how can I do this.

That is a dynamic runtime activity rather than a static design time activity.

The SWT Snippets page has TableEditor examples showing how to do this.

Can you please explain?! I'm a neewbie to SWT. The Snippet looks like a InlineEditingSupport. But I don't understand why i have to use this for setting a widget (comboBox) into a Table/tree cell?

What you are describing (putting a widget into a table cell) is inline editing, and that snippet shows how to do it

BTW, if you have general questions about SWT and how it works, the eclipse.platform.swt newsgroup is the best place to ask them.

If you have a question specifically about SWT Designer, this is the appropriate place to ask.

This is not, however, the place to ask general SWT questions.
