SWT Designer allows you to create the views, editors, perspectives, pref pages, composites, etc. that comprise Eclipse SWT & RCP applications and plug-ins.

Hi,
we take advantage of visual inheritance to organize ou GUI code.
This works well with Composite.
We use the eclipse forms framework in our dev and it seems that the visual inheritance doesn't work with FormPage.
Is there any reason why ?
Thanks in advance.

The current version of SWT Designer supports visual inheritance of SWT Shells and Composites. It does not support visual inheritance of any other SWT/RCP UI types. We do plan to add support for that later this year and hope to have a beta with that capability in the next month or so. In the meantime, you would need to use visual inheritance of Composites and then embed each Composite into its own FormPage.
