I am using eclipse 3.1.2 along with SWT Designer 4.2.1.
My project has 3 source folders -junitAcceptanceTest, junitTest and src and all my images are in src/images.
When I call up the 'Select image' dialog and choose 'relative to source folder' it shows my the junitAcceptanceTest folder only.
Have I misunderstood how to use this dialog?

Sounds like you need to refresh your Eclipse project tree.
If you add directories or files to your project outside of eclipse then you need to right click on the parent directory in eclipse and select the refresh menu item.

The latest v4.2.1 build now supports projects with multiple source folders.
