According to our records, your support expired last year, so you would be limited to instaling and activating the v6.8.0 release until you renew your support. You also need to use the e-mail activation option as web activation is only available to currrenly supported licenses. See...http://download.instantiations.com/Desi ... activationhttp://download.instantiations.com/Desi ... ml#expired
You didn't mention what version of Eclipse you wee using in your original installation attemp, but assuming it was 3.4, you are likely running into a common Eclipse 3.4 p2 bug. To workaround that, you need to restore the original eclipse\configuration
directories from the Eclipse zip file and start Eclipse with the -clean
flag. If that does not help, unfortunately, you'll need to start with a fresh copy of Eclipse and re-install Designer.
I'm not sure what you mean by "navigate to the eclipse subfolder within the Eclipse 18.104.22.168 instance" since Eclipse doesn't typically have an "eclipse" subfolder.
I am also unsure what you mean by "attempted to install my permanent licence but this failed" in your first post (unless you mean that the web activation failed as described above). You should be able to install v6.8.0 and activate the license using the e-mail option.
